Nuclear Weapons

Nuclear weapons are the most feared weapon in history. It is also the most destructive weapon currently in the world. The first nuclear weapon was tested in New Mexico under the Manhattan Project. The test was nicknamed Trinity and the nuclear device was nicknamed "Gadget". Since then, there have been numerous weapons made. During the Cold War, the U.S. and U.S.S.R. had a stockpile race in which both countries had over 5,000 warheads at a certain time. The biggest nuclear bomb ever tested was the "Tsar Bomba" in Russia. The bomb was over 54 megatons of tnt. Still, to this day, it has been the largest denonation. Since there has been more precision guided missiles, there are no reason to use huge bombs such as the Tsar Bomba. What are your views of nuclear weapons?
